Modern computers with Widows are 'networked' by plugging them into a device called a hub, and then configuring Windows to 'Share files & printers'.   A variety of different types of hubs are available, some offering wireless service.

Internet access companies will not provide support for home networks due to the associated risks and complexity compared to access for a singe PC.  We offer low cost installation and service for all types of home networks and can provide you with a secure and professional looking installation that benefits your entire family.

For High Speed Internet access, it is important to remember that the connection is always on, when your computer is on.  Also, most people probably don't want to share their files and printers with the entire Internet world.  For this reason, it is important to install a protective firewall (router) between your home network and the rest of the world.

Wireless Networking works much like a cordless phone and replaces the wires between the PCs and Firewall with radio waves.  Be sure and enable your wireless encryption, to prevent drive-by hackers from accessing your data.
